Alte EML Windows Live Mails zu Outlook PST exportieren

    Moin Freunde,

    mein Onkel hat noch tausende alte Windows Live Mails, die er gerne zu Outlook 2019 exportieren möchte. Das alte EML Format wird aber von Outlook nicht unterstützt. Hat jemand Erfahrung wie ich die Mails ins PST Format bekomme? Habe schon viele Wege probiert, aber es scheint nur mit zusätzlicher kostenpflichtiger Software zu gehen. Es gibt aber zu viele Anbieter und manche sehen nicht wirklich seriös aus. Wenn da jemand eine Empfehlung hat, immer her damit.

    Tipps und Ideen jeglicher Art sind willkommen. Merci!

    Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht müsste das mit MailStore Home gehen (ist kostenlos im Privatgebrauch).
    Einfach den Ordner mit den EML-Dateien importieren und einen Export nach Outlook anstoßen.
    Theoretisch kannst du glaube ich auch die EML-Datei auf einen Ordner in Outlook ziehen.

    You can export old EML files from Windows Live Mail to an Outlook PST file either manually or using a professional solution. For the manual method, open Windows Live Mail, click on "Microsoft Exchange," navigate to "File" > "Export emails" > "Email messages," and select the folders you want to export. After transferring the emails to Outlook, you can use Outlook's import/export function to save them as a PST file. However, this method can be time-consuming and may not work reliably with large or older EML files. The "Softaken EML to PST Converter" offers the simplest solution, as it allows you to batch convert EML files to the PST format while preserving the original folder structure and is compatible with all Outlook versions.
